Prescient Power Establishes Ashby 2020

Ashby 2020 seeks to engage all elements of the community in sustainability, be they individuals, groups and societies, businesses or local government.
Taking a characteristically pragmatic and open approach, Prescient Power have structured the scheme to encourage all parties to gain as much as possible from becoming more sustainable - thus ensuring everyone is bought into the idea.
The scheme will follow 6 themes:
- Energy
- Food and water
- Waste
- Travel
- Commerce and Finance
- The Built Environment
The scheme already has the support of local government and councils as well as businesses and individuals. The launch event will be on 15th April 2010 at Ivanhoe Community College from 7pm to 10pm.
